1. Introduction
Brewskipotatoes is a personal beer journal iOS app. This policy covers what data we collect and how we use it.
2. What We Collect
- Account: authentication info via Sign in with Apple (email may be a private relay address controlled by Apple). Optional display name, bio, avatar.
- Beer logs: text, ratings, beer styles, ABV, photos, and timestamps you create.
- Locations: brewery and venue addresses and coordinates you save when logging beers, including reverse-geocoded city, state, and country.
- Photos: images you upload (beer photos, menus, avatars).
- Social: who you follow, who follows you, and cheers (likes) you give and receive.
- Push tokens: an identifier from Apple Push Notification Service so we can send notifications you've opted into.
3. How We Use It
- To run the app: store your logs, deliver the social feed, sync your data across devices.
- AI features: when you use menu scan or insights, the relevant data (menu photo, beer logs, profile data) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the result. This data is processed for the request and not used to train models.
- To deliver push notifications you've opted into.
4. Third Parties We Share With
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, Apple Push Notification Service.
- Anthropic: AI features (Claude API). See anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
- Supabase: hosts the database, photo storage, and authentication infrastructure.
- We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.
5. Your Rights and Choices
- You can delete your account from Settings inside the app, which permanently removes your data.
- You can request a copy of your data by emailing hello@brewskipotatoes.com.
- You can revoke push notification permission in iOS Settings.
6. Children
The app is not intended for users under 21.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
