West Flanders' wine-like sour, aged up to two years in oak foeders — Rodenbach is the benchmark. Sharp lactic-acetic tartness over cherry, plum, and balsamic depth, blended from aged and young beer for balance. Often called the most wine-like of all beers. Usually 4.6–6.5%.
