Brewed in March, lagered cold through summer, and tapped for Oktoberfest. Rich, toasty, bread-crust malt depth with a clean, surprisingly dry finish at around 5.5–6.3%. Amber American versions follow this older template; Munich's modern festival beer has drifted paler and lighter.
