The hazy IPA, born in Vermont in the 2010s — The Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, and Tree House set the model. Massive late and dry hopping delivers saturated tropical-citrus juice character with low bitterness, while oats and wheat give a soft, full, opaque body. Usually 6–9%; freshness is everything.
